Sesame Pork Toast
Introduction
This simple pork toast recipe can be adapted to work with any minced meat. We find it works best with chicken or pork mince. Typically Chinese restaurants and take-away make sesame prawn toast. The principle is basically the same. This recipe serves approx 4 people.

Equipment
Mixing bowl
Knife
Deep fryer
Method
Step 1
Put into the mixing bowl 250g minced pork.
Add half tablespoon sugar
Add half tablespoon pepper
Add half teaspoon salt
Add half tablespoon garlic
Add one and a half table spoon oyster sauce
Step 2
Using 1 hand (preferably with a glove on) mix all ingredients together by scooping and squishing the mixture in your fist until smooth and even consistency.
Step 3
Gently spread pork mixture evenly onto several pieces of sliced white bread. Gently is the key as to not tear the bread or to squash it down. It is best to spread around edges first and finish with the middle. Use up all of the pork mixture before moving onto step 4.
Step 4
Put all pieces of bread together Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over every piece. Using one hand press down gently on each slice of bread to stick all sesame seeds down into the pork mixture. If you chose not to do this, the seeds will come loose during cooking.
Step 5
Cut into quarters either triangle or square or whatever shape you like.
Step 6
cook in a deep fryer set to 180 degrees Celsius. Cook pork side down first for about a minute flipping it over when golden brown and cook for another minute.
Once golden brown remove from fryer, drain oil using a paper towel and present on a clean plate with a side salad and some sweet chilli sauce
